Server data: We collect publicly available information from Soulmask game servers via the Steam A2S protocol (server name, player count, settings, IP address). This data is public and provided by server operators.
Voting: When you vote for a server, we store a hashed version of your IP address and a browser fingerprint hash. These are one-way hashes and cannot be used to identify you personally. The purpose is to prevent duplicate votes.
Browser fingerprint: To protect the integrity of our voting system, we collect technical characteristics of your browser (screen resolution, timezone, language settings, graphics card identifier) when you cast a vote. These signals are immediately hashed into a non-reversible value. We never store raw browser data. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in maintaining voting integrity.
Server owner accounts: If you sign in via Steam to claim a server, we store your Steam ID, display name, and avatar URL. This data comes from the Steam API.
Vote records (IP hashes, fingerprint hashes) are automatically deleted after 30 days. Server snapshots are retained for 30 days. Account data is retained as long as your account exists.
We use functional cookies only:
We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking.
Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Since vote data is stored as non-reversible hashes, it cannot be linked back to you. For account-related requests, contact us.
